Living one day at a time

Being the temporary assistant/secretary in my boss’ office, I also do some of my boss’ personal transactions. Last week, he asked to attend an auction sponsored by his alma mater. I was also asked to pick up her daughter from school. My boss secretary is on maternity leave that’s why I’ll be doing some more personal stuff for him for some time. Yesterday, I received a call from my boss asking me to search the internet for Residential Mailboxes, Address Plaques, and whitehall mailboxes . His son went home drunk the other night and he bumped and crushed their mailbox. Good thing his son did not suffer serious injuries.

This morning, I was touched by my boss gesture. He brought me a cake and a bouquet of flowers as signs of gratitude for helping him in his personal dealings.

I visited my friend who was at the site where his house is being constructed. I was happy to see that it is almost finished, his dream house as he calls it.

The interior designer of his house was leaving when I got there. My friend told me they were discussing some last details for the guestroom. He even showed me some pictures of Bedroom Furniture. He asked my opinion on which is better between the Contemporary Bedroom Furniture or the Modern Bedroom Furniture. I told him that since I’m planning to be always a guest in his house, I want the modern bedroom. I think he is going to agree with me.

Yesterday, I went shopping with my younger sister at the newly opened mall in our area. We have been looking for a lightweight luggage that fits her, let me just quote, according to her, My sister will be doing domestic travels two weeks from today, as a requirement at her new work assignment.

We have checked almost all luggage sets displayed at one store and still, no single item passed her criteria. When I was feeling impatient already, I told her to take the advice of the sales representative whom I thought was very informative, she told me she knows what she is looking for then informed me that she read a Luggage Buying Guide before going to the mall. So I couldn’t do anything but to let her drag me to other luggage stores. We finally bought one in the 8th store that we visited. I was so tired and hungry after, so i forced her to treat me to dinner then movie after!
